Father Shoots Son Dead Over Money Dispute in Bhadohi, UP

In a tragic incident in Cherapur village, Bhadohi district, Uttar Pradesh, a 70-year-old man allegedly shot his 47-year-old son dead following a financial dispute. The accused, Kailash Nath Dubey, reportedly fired two shots from his licensed rifle during a heated argument with his son, Tananjay Dubey, who had recently returned from Mumbai to attend a wedding.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhimanyu Manglik, the altercation occurred on Saturday night. During the argument, Kailash Nath fired two shots; the first missed, but the second struck Tananjay, causing fatal injuries. Tananjay was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries later that night.

Tananjay's son, Vishal Dubey, filed a police complaint, leading to Kailash Nath's arrest. A murder case has been registered against him, and the weapon used in the crime has been seized. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

This incident highlights the escalating tensions and tragic outcomes that can arise from financial disputes within families.
