An emergency meeting of Rayagada District Collector Shri Saroj Kumar Mishra to deal with the storm

The district magistrate of Raigad today convened an emergency meeting in the middle of a virtual meeting to deal with the threat of possible storms and flash floods, mudslides, and landslides due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. The district attorney's office ordered the stockpile of chariot, rice, kerosene, and diesel to be stored. The chief minister of the agriculture department also directed the district agriculture officer to warn the farmers to reap the harvest immediately, as well as the veterinary department. The department has also asked the telephone department to deal with the situation
