According to police reports, the young girl was playing near the temple when Pavitra, a neighbour, allegedly lured her inside the premises and committed the assault. The child’s screams alerted her grandmother, who rushed to the scene. The Agra Police Commissionerate confirmed the arrest in a statement posted on X, noting that the incident took place in the Jagdishpura area.
