In view of the Corona and the festival of Holi, Section-144 has been implemented in the district.Section 144 will remain in force from March 17 to April 2021 in Gautam Budh Nagar. To prevent corona virus infection, public awareness system has been started once again from 288 places in the district through public address system.

Police Commissioner Alok Singh said that through the public address system, people are being informed to follow social distancing to protect themselves from Corona and to wear masks when they get out of the house. Also, LEDs have been installed in different places in the district to create awareness. At the same time, the policemen are also making people aware to follow the corona rules through patroling. According to the Police Commissionerate Media Cell, obtaining permission from the police-administration will be mandatory for the organization of the Games and other events.

Rules may need to be followed Strictly

The Kotwali-39 police on Thursday stopped the program of Swapna Chaudhary and other artists at the Polo Retreat at Sector 127. During this time a cricket tournament was also to be organized. ADCP Ranvijay Singh said that no program would be held without permission. Also, no more than 4 people will gather in one place. For prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, it will be necessary to follow social distancing at places like shopping malls, religious places, hotels, parks, etc.

Keep these things in mind

If More than 50 people will have to gather then inform the police station of the area while organizing the party and other events. If more than 100 people gather, it will be mandatory to seek permission from the administration. During the party, rules like mask, social distancing, sanitizer, etc. will also have to be followed. There will be no restriction on celebrating Holi at home. Police say that strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules.
